CITIZENSHIP RENUNCIATION & SURRENDER OF INDIAN PASSPORT
Persons of Indian Origin who have acquired foreign nationality are required to surrender their Indian Passports and renounce their Indian Citizenship at the nearest Indian Mission/Post immediately after acquisition of foreign citizenship. Further, they should not travel on the Indian Passport after acquisition of foreign citizenship. Under Section 12(1A) of the Passports Act, possession of Indian Passport by foreign nationals (including Indian nationals who have acquired foreign nationality) is a cognizable offence.

- Register by clicking on "Register" Link
- Login with the registered login ID and Password on "User Login" link
- In the Applicant Home Page, click on "Apply for Surrender of Indian Passport
- After successful submission, take a printout of the online submitted form
Required Documents:
- Foreign Passport
- Valid Civil Id
- Indian Passport
- Naturalization Certificate (It should be attested by Concerned Indian Mission or MoFA Kuwait)
- Copy of one Indian witness passport and civil id (Self Attested)
- One Photograph
*Additional documents might be required for verification, depending upon the documents submitted
Fee for Surrender of Passport – 13.000 KD and 1.000 KD for ICWF (Applicant can pay at embassy)
Fee for No-Objection Certificate for transfer of Residency - 7.000 KD and 1.000 KD for ICWF (Applicant can pay at embassy)
Note : After submitting your application online, take a printout of application and visit Embassy with all the documents in original and copy. All copies of documents should be self attested (signature & date).
