ARMED FORCES FLAG DAY FUND

Armed Forces Flag Day is celebrated every year on 7 December to celebrate the contribution of Armed Forces in securing the borders of India.
2.      Under the Ministry of Defense, the KendriyaSainik Board (KSB)is the apex body responsible for implementation of Government policies and schemes for the welfare of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) of Indian Defence Forces and their families.  Hon’ble RakshaMantriis the President of KSB, while Secretary, KSB, heads the Secretariat of the Board which manages the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF).
3.      The Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF)is utilized towards welfare schemes for Ex-Servicemen and their families.  Contributions to the AFFDF are collected in recognition of the valuable sacrifices made by the veterans of the Defence Forces of India.
4.      Contributions to the AFFDF can be made using any of the following means:

  1. By cheque/demand draft drawn in favour of “Armed Forces Flag Day Fund”.Secretary, KendriyaSainik Board, West Block-IV, Wing-VII, R.K.Puram, New Delhi - 110066
